LONDON, April 8 (UPI) -- Members of a British protest group that targets the aviation industry said they have discovered and exposed a mole in their ranks.

Organizers of Plane Stupid, a group that made headlines in March when members occupied the roof of the Houses of Parliament, said they discovered Toby Kendall -- who joined the group under the name Ken Tobias -- is an employee of C2i International, a counter-intelligence company that lists "aerospace" as being among the industries that employs its services, The Times of London reported Tuesday.

The group said it discovered Kendall's true nature after he was fed false information that found its way into airline industry hands within two days.

"This special agent was more Austin Powers than James Bond, though the question still remains, who paid for the spy?" a Plane Stupid spokesman said.

C2i International denied that Kendall was working on behalf of his employer when he infiltrated the group.

"The security industry is full of people on the circuit who masquerade as this and that. When they are not working for us how can we stop them from working for other people?" said Justin King, C2i's managing director.
